Our registration nights are coming up on Monday Sept 11 and Monday Sept 18th at SJV from 6 – 8 PM. The cost for registration this year is $30/child or $60/family for IGNITE & EDGE and a $25 cost for our Sacramental Preparation programming; however, we will never let money or cost prevent families from participating in our faith formation programming! Please see below for the information on our programming for the year and do not hesitate to contact Alex if you have questions by phone at 902-865-2112 ext.23 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org!
IGNITE (for families with children in Grades 1 -5) gathers the whole family together to learn and share faith side by side with parents, children, and siblings. We will explore and examine the main truths of our faith through an exciting program of experiences, discussions, games, music, drama, and art throughout the faith sharing experience. As parents ourselves, we understand the business of family life, therefore there are 3 different time slots to choose from and gatherings are every 2 weeks.
IGNITE Early Risers – Sundays 9:30am – 10:45am @ SES
IGNITE Midday – Sundays 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM @ SES
IGNITE Night – Mondays 6:15pm – 7:45pm @ SES
EDGE – EDGE continues the faith formation journey of IGNITE and challenges our growing young people in Grades 6 – 8. EDGE invites them to discover more deeply the plans that God has in store for them, and how they can respond to God’s call in their lives. Through a mix of games, videos, music, discussion, faith experiences, and other activities, we are excited to help our young people take personal ownership of their faith as they continue to grow in the knowledge of just how deeply they are loved by God!
EDGE will meet this year on MONDAY EVENINGS from 6:15pm – 7:45 pm
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION REGISTRATION for First Reconciliation and First Communion (for children Grade 2 and up) and Confirmation (for teens Grade 9 and up) is now available. Candidates for receiving these sacraments MUST have participated in faith formation programming for AT LEAST one year immediately prior to their sacramental preparation.
